Philosophical Consultancy courses

The contemporary movement towards professionalising the fields of coaching and counselling has prompted some amendments to the SPP's nomenclature and training scheme. The SPP course formerly designated "Philosophical Counselling" has been renamed "Philosophical Consultancy" to accord with the terminology used by other professional societies. The SPP course has been suspended in the meantime, and is likely to be reinstated in a different format.

New standards of professional training are being developed for Philosophical Coaching and Philosophical Counselling, which will provide professional recognition and much improved prospects of employment.
